Welcome to the Area Agency on Aging of Eastern Idaho. Our mission is to help seniors live independently, in their own homes, for as long as possible. In addition, we advocate for the rights and well-being of all seniors, including those who live in long term care facilities. We do this by contracting, supporting, and providing a variety of services, including:
- Adult Protection
- Caregiver Programs
- Nutrition Sites
- Grandparents Raising Grandchildren
- In-Home Services
- Long Term Care Ombudsman
- Medicare Assistance
- Senior Centers
- Volunteer Programs
Our goal for this website is to provide information and resources for the seniors, caregivers, family members, providers and partner agencies in eastern Idaho.

The Area Agency on Aging lost a member of its team this weekend. Sharon Wellman, our Data Entry clerk, passed away on April 21, 2012, at her home of natural causes.
